I’m Eoghan of Eoghan Smith Photography. I’ve been taking pictures since 2004ish and in 2012 I decided to set up my photography page on facebook as a place to display my wares. My confidence behind the lens grew and grew over a period of time.  By late 2019 I had enough people telling me that my pictures were great and I should do it full time.   The seed was sown.   In early 2020 I decided to leave my fulltime job and jump feet first into the photography game .   By nature, I am an introvert. I am more of a listener than a talker.  That means it can take me a while to come out of my shell,  but if you speak to me about my passions, I could talk the hind legs off a donkey.

Whats with the wagon behind me?   Well, this is 'Big Red'   When I was dreaming about doing photography fulltime, this was always in the background.  My dream?  to be able to get anywhere, down any road, in any condition to let me get that shot. I dream of being able to throw the camera, a tent and sleeping bag in the back and to head out to the hills to get that shot.  So if you see Big Red on the roadside, there will be a shaggy bearded, bald chap taking a picture somewhere close by,  living the dream.
